Is your fear of math preventing you from continuing your education or pursuing a job promotion?  Are you studying for the GED or currently enrolled in a college math class that seems overwhelming? Math anxiety affects even those who have the potential to do great in the subject! This workshop will help you explore possible reasons for your math anxiety and offer practical strategies to help you overcome it.  Be prepared to learn how to move beyond your fear of math!  No supplies required!

This program is presented by Marilyn Wells. Ms. Wells is a former classroom teacher and owner of Academics First, a private tutoring service. Her teaching experience has spanned over 30 years of sharing math in public, private, and home school settings. In addition to tutoring, Ms. Wells is an academic writer, creating instructional products for online learning.

Grades Taught: 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, College level

Subjects:  Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1, ACT Prep
